JEM Rushes Banquet Video

Video editors at the Crown Heights offices of Jewish Educational Media (JEM) were hard at work in the last 12 hours preparing the official video of the 5771 Kinus Hashluchim gala banquet.

The event - which gathered some 4,500 Chabad Shluchim and supporters - was filmed as the program moved along.

JEM's editors Yankee Teitelbaum, Yanky Ascher and Yossi Margolin split the program into three parts, with each editor polishing another part of the program.

The program is "almost full-length, with only a few nips and tucks in order to keep the program length manageable," one of them said.

Meanwhile, at another station, Mendel Gourarie was racing through photos of the event to select for the cover.

The video is said to be available today, Monday, on DVD for sale in Crown Heights. It will be shipped to JEM subscribers on Monday and Tuesday.
