New historic documents discovered concerning the Rebbe’s life in Paris in the 1930’s
Paris, France

Resulting from research done by Jewish Educational Media’s My Encounter with the Rebbe oral history project, new documents were discovered in the archives of École Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESPT) in Paris, France relating to the Rebbe’s studies at this small elite mechanical and industrial engineering institute.

These documents, and many others from the period, are to be released next week in a new film to be released by JEM entitled The Early Years II, 1931 – 1938. This film, second in a series, is based on first person testimony and covers the private life of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson and his wife in Berlin and Paris during these prewar years.
